# Radiant Faith
**Radiant Faith** is a notable Ascendancy passive skill for the [[Guardian]] that grants **Radiant Faith** buff.

Note: Because **Radiant Faith** is classified as an [[aura]] [[buff]] and not an [[aura]] skill / aura skill gem, mods such as #% increased effect of Non-Curse Auras from your Skills does not increase the amount of Armour and Energy Shield granted from this ascendancy passive skill. However, those receiving the buff can increase the amounts received by their own Increased Armour and Increased Energy Shield stats.

Note, that while the wording is similar to the Hierophant's [[Sanctuary of Thought]], the mechanics are quite different. Sanctuary of thought functions as a conversion so Increased Maximum Mana and Increased Maximum Energy Shield mods stack with each other additively. Radiant Faith grants the percentage of your actual mana as base energy shield, so Increased Maximum Mana and Increased Maximum Energy Shield effectively stack multiplicatively with each other, which allows for extreme stacking of energy shield with proper gear.
