# Paradoxica ## Modifiers Paradoxica has 2 veiled modifiers (non-signature veiled mod): one prefix <span class="text-mod">Chosen</span> and one suffix <span class="text-mod">of the Order</span>. The item level of the unique item may block the spawn of higher tier veiled modifier. ### Damage Scaling Paradoxica has double damage from the weapon's total flat damage. When combined with large amounts of flat added physical damage from non-weapon sources, it can scale damage competitive with high physical damage one-handed rare swords. Some examples of non-weapon sources of flat added physical are: - [[Bloodthirst support]] adds 2% of your maximum life as flat added physical damage to weapons. - Example: A player with above average life has 6,000 maximum life. (6,000 X .02) = 120 Flat added physical weapon damage. - Party - Having an ally with large average flat physical damage weapon use [[Rallying Cry]] near you to give you 20% of the weapon's damage. - Example: A player with a high damage karui axe that does 700 average physical damage per hit. (700*.2) = 140 average flat added physical damage. - Items - See physical damage page for items with high flat added physical damage. - Ascendancy - Champion ascendancy passive can gives flat added physical damage per impale on enemies you hit. - Attacks - Some attack skills add flat physical damage to weapons. ## Item acquisition Paradoxica drops from any Betrayal bosses in the Safehouse area.
