## Mechanics The bonuses to attack damage, attack speed, and area of effect are global, and stack additively with other sources of increased attack damage, attack speed, and area of effect radius. Damage Scaling: Strength - Pillar of the caged god can scale increased physical damage modifiers to much higher levels than most builds by having large amounts of strength. When combined with large amounts of flat added physical damage from non-weapon sources, it can scale damage competitive with high damage rare staves. Some examples of large sources of flat added physical are: [[Bloodthirst support]] adds 2% of your life as flat added physical damage to weapons. Example: A very high strength stacking build with average <span class="text-mod">% increased life</span> has 8,000 total life. (8,000 X .02) = 160 Flat added physical weapon damage. Party - Having an ally with large average flat physical damage weapon use [[Rallying Cry]] near you to give you 20% of the weapon's damage. Example: A player with a high damage karui axe that does 700 average physical damage per hit. (700*.2) = 140 flat average added physical damage. Items - See physical damage page for items with high flat added physical damage. Ascendancy - Champion ascendancy passive can gives flat added physical damage per impale on enemies you hit.
