Mechanics
The weapon's 1% of Physical Attack Damage Leeched as Life and chance to cause bleeding are local, while the 3% of Attack Damage Leeched as Life against Bleeding Enemies mod is global. Because of the weapon's low dps value, for players attempting difficult content, it is recommended to find a way to utilise the global leech mod without having to actively attack with the weapon. One such method is to equip another non-mace weapon in addition to this one, then use an attack that cannot use maces (or can only use the main hand weapon), while occasionally applying bleed with an attack that can use maces, or getting chance to cause bleeding from another source. Alternatively, if the player already has sufficient damage but desires the leech to be active every attack, an attack utilizing both weapons (such as Dual Strike
) can be used.
