    Edit

    The Writhing Jar

The Writhing Jar is a unique Hallowed Hybrid Flask.

    Mechanics

Writhing Worms spawned by the The Writhing Jar do not generate flask charges or souls for Vaal skills or Soul Eater.

The jar allows players to gain on-hit effects outside of combat or any time. On-kill effects work for summoning spiders from Arakaali's Fang. Killing the worms also triggers the on-kill effect of The Gull.

    Version history

    VersionChanges
    3.16.0
  • The Writhing Worms summoned by {{Il|The Writhing Jar}} Unique Flask were found to generate Fortification too easily with these changes.
  • We have changed them so they now have an Ailment|Ailment Threshold similar to that of a normal Monster in an Area Level 83 area.
    • 3.3.0
  • Worms spawned from The Writhing Jar are now destroyed when hit. This overrides effects which would otherwise prevent them from dying, such as the one found on the unique gloves Southbound.
    • 2.3.0
  • Fixed a bug where Writhing Worms created by the Writhing Jar unique flask counted towards /remaining.
    • 2.2.1d
  • The unique flask The Writhing Jar no longer refills in your Hideout.
  • Fixed a bug where Writhing Worms created by The Writhing Jar unique flask were too high level.
    • 2.2.1
  • Writhing Worms no longer grant souls to players with Soul Eater.
  • Fixed a bug where Writhing Worms could grant flask charges when players had Increased Flask Charges Gained.
    • 2.2.0
  • Introduced to the game.
