    Mantra of Flames

    Strategy

    The obvious strategy for Mantra of flames is to stack as many buffs as possible. As most buffs are either auras or personal buffs that reserve mana (such as the heralds and Arctic Armour), buffs that require no or only a tiny mana reservation are especially noteworthy:

    • auras—Currently works

    • heralds—Currently works

    • Golems—Currently works

    • Blood Rage —Currently bugged and doesn't work with the jewel

    • Molten Shell —Currently works

    • Punishment —Didn't test use at your own judgment

    • Tempest Shield —Currently works

    All of the above are buffs that require no resources other than sockets. They can be linked to Cast when Damage Taken Support or Cast when Stunned Support to automate casting them. The latter four also profit from increased duration.

    This skill only requires 34 mana reservation (even less with reduced mana reservation nodes), so it should be considered to run it even if the player does not use any mana or for some other reason has no use for mana regeneration.

    • Onslaught—Didn't test use at your own judgment
    • Unholy Might—Didn't test use at your own judgment
    • Shrines

    These buffs are somewhat harder to gain, but also require no mana reservation. Onslaught gained during the duration of a Silver Flask is not considered as a buff.

    This skill grants another aura in the form of a totem that reserves no mana. Due to the 2.0.0 change to totems this can no longer be linked to trigger gems, the time investment vs. damage gain is therefore questionable.
