Death's Opus is a unique Death Bow . It is the fated version of the Death's Harp .

Stats

The upgraded bow will maintain the following stats of the base bow, therefore players should select a base bow with high stats so that they obtain a good roll Death's Opus.

(30-50)% increased Critical Strike Chance (implicit, relatively cheap to reroll with Blessed Orb )
(100-125)% increased Physical Damage (explicit, relatively expensive to reroll with Divine Orb )

Moreover, using a legacy bow will carry over the legacy stat +100/150% to Global Critical Strike Multiplier to the fated version

Steps

Complete the following steps to obtain a Death's Opus.

Obtain/buy The Bowstring's Music prophecy and activate it
Obtain/buy Death's Harp and carry it in your inventory
Travel to the Act 4 area The Dried Lake (south of Highgate (Act 4))
Kill Nightwane
You will obtain a new Death's Opus in your inventory
Optionally buy The Jeweller's Touch prophecy, activate it and roll Jeweller's Orb s on your item to 5-link it
Optionally buy Fated Connections prophecy, activate it and roll Jeweller's Orb s on your item to 6-link it

Version history

Version	Changes
3.19.0	Fated Uniques can no longer be acquired. The special modifiers on some Fated Uniques have been moved to the base version of that Unique. More information can be found in the {{section link\|Version 3.19.0\|Rebalance of Unique Items}} section.
3.17.0	Removed the Prophecy mechanic from the game, and moved many of its rewards to other content. Fated Unique Items not mentioned explicitly in the version 3.17.0 patch notes now have a chance to drop from any endgame map boss. This is a temporary measure to maintain their availability. They will be moved to a new acquisition system in a future expansion. Death's Opus's basetype Death Bow now has 28-73 Physical Damage (previously 20-53). Death's Opus now has 90-105% increased Physical Damage (previously 100-125%), and now adds 6-12 to 20-25 Physical Damage (previously 10-20 to 30-35).
3.10.0	Death's Harp now grants +50% to Critical Strike Multiplier (from +100%). You can use a Divine Orb to ruin it, and any existing Death's Opuses.
3.0.0	Death's Harp's (and the fated variant Death's Opus) Global Critical Strike Multiplier has been reduced to 100%.
2.3.0	Introduced to the game.
