# Mahuxotl's Machination ## Modifiers The <span class="text-mod">Corrupted Soul, Divine Flesh, Eternal Youth, Everlasting Sacrifice, Immortal Ambition</span> , and <span class="text-mod">Vaal Pact</span> modifiers have the same effect as the keystones, Corrupted Soul, Divine Flesh, [[Eternal Youth]], [[Everlasting Sacrifice]], Immortal Ambition, and [[Vaal Pact]]. Taking the keystones in addition to equipping this item will impart no additional benefit. This item gives you the following effects: - <span class="text-mod">Life Regeneration has no effect</span> - <span class="text-mod">All Damage taken bypasses Energy Shield</span> - <span class="text-mod">Cannot Recharge or Regenerate Energy Shield</span> - <span class="text-mod">Energy Shield starts at zero</span> - <span class="text-mod">Lose 5% of Energy Shield per second</span> - <span class="text-mod">Life Leeched per Second is doubled</span> - <span class="text-mod">Life Leech effects are not removed at Full Life</span> - <span class="text-mod">Life Leech effects Recover Energy Shield instead while on Full Life</span> - <span class="text-mod">Gain 15% of Maximum Life as Extra Maximum Energy Shield</span> - <span class="text-mod">50% of Elemental Damage taken as Chaos Damage</span> - <span class="text-mod">+5% to maximum Chaos Resistance</span> - <span class="text-mod">When you reach full Energy Shield, Sacrifice all Energy Shield to gain +5% to all Maximum Resistances for 4 seconds</span> Interactions - Mahuxotl's Machination grants Divine Flesh. When combined with Tempered by War, no lightning or cold damage is taken. Half of the damage is taken as fire and the other as chaos. When combined with Avian Twins Talisman, no lightning or cold damage from hits only is taken.
