# Memory Altar As you defeat the boss of each map along the Thread, you are presented with an Altar. This Altar will apply a modifier to all following maps in the Thread, and these will stack as you go, so the deeper you delve into a memory, the more mods you will have. This, combined with the special abilities, will allow for some of the most juiced maps ever run in Path of Exile. Let’s take a look at some of the Altar mods, you are always presented with two choices and must pick one. Modifiers * 200% increased quantity of Petals found on Rare and Unique Monsters in Area * 500% increased quantity of Petals found on Map Bosses in Area * Map Crafts applied to this Area have no Cost * 50% chance for Rare Monsters in Area to be Possessed
