| AdiyahGossipAboutNenet NPCTextAudio | |
| ExitBanterAdiyahToNenet NPCTextAudio |
| NenetContractOneEnd NPCTextAudio |
| SelectionBanterNilesToNenet NPCTextAudio | |
| SelectionBanterNilesToNenetTwo NPCTextAudio | |
| EntryBanterNenetNilesReply NPCTextAudio | |
| Varashta_AfarudGossip NPCTextAudio | I hold no ill will toward the Faridun, but the Afarud disgust me. They are the pariahs of the outcasts. The rejected of the rejected. The violent, the sadists, and the evil. For generations, they have made plague and darkness their tools. They steal what is ours, and commit unspeakable acts... but only on the fringes, in the dark places. They know the Maraketh would slaughter them otherwise... which is why it is very concerning that the Afarud would make such overt moves now, after all this time. For some reason, they now seek to free Zarokh, the accursed Grand Djinn of Time... they are not loyal to him. They are led by another, someone who remains hidden in the shadows... |
| Varashta_OnSaresh NPCTextAudio | Ah, so the Afarud's secret leader is Saresh, the Necromancer of Weeping Black! I was already bound to the Trial of the Sekhemas by his era. I know only what aspirants and {djinn} have told me. He was a Walker of the White Sands, rejected even by the Faridun, though I know not why. Ahkeli's Order found him, recruited him, and put his unique talents to work... but even they could not stomach his... {interests}. Eventually, they banished him, and he sought refuge in a desert region. He became a Necromancer and built an army of the dead, and eventually waged war on us. Orbala was crowned Garukhan for uniting the {akharas} and defeating him. The Afarud must have stolen him away after... perhaps Orbala's victory was not complete... |
| Varashta_Wish_FaridunMiniboss NPCTextAudio | Face the enemy. |
| Varashta_UniqueComment_KhatalsWeeping NPCTextAudio | That amulet you wear was once known as Khatal's Geyser. The drop of Sacred Water within has been putrefied... my heart grows heavy thinking about it. And that crude engraving... yes, it is true. Khatal was Faridun. We needed every warrior we could possibly arm... and every scrap of power we possessed. He was a male {daiyata}, a tale-teller, if you can believe it. The times demanded it. |
| MirageExecutioner_Glyph NPCTextAudio | For generations, we have endured the hatred of the Maraketh, and the contempt of the Faridun. Saresh is all that we have. Our single hope in this world - not for triumph - but for {vengeance.} There can be no redemption for us, not after what we have had to do to survive. They must all pay the black river's toll! They must suffer as we have! Let them drown in blood. Then, we can all be forgotten together. |
| Khatal's Weeping UniqueItems | "We fought the Abyssals, too. That's the part they leave out. Khatal was Faridun... and for saving all their lives, the Maraketh made him drink the enemy's blood. He melted from the inside out." - Toryal, of the Afarud |
