Wickerman

The twisted witchcraft of the Coven allows you to put the remains of your fallen enemies to use by placing them on your own Wickerman. Obtain Viscera from a defeated boss empowered by Fates to claim a scrap of their power for your own.

Every boss in the campaign, as well as every boss on a map in the Atlas, has a unique Viscera to be obtained. Be sure to collect the Fates before defeating them so you don't miss out!

Has 4 slots, where body parts can be equipped (head, torso, arm, leg).

Body parts grant permanent effects to your character while they are equipped into the Wickerman.

Three tiers of body parts: Lesser, Normal (no prefix), and Greater (available only in Endgame)

These limbs are dropped from bosses (campaign, Atlas, Pinnacle), and all grant different buffs:

  • Lesser Warden’s Arm (from Brutus), a limb which grants +x to Maximum Life
  • Lesser Bandit Warrior’s Head (from Oak), a head which grants Regenerate x% of Life per Second

Torso

  • Greater Golemic Stone: You cannot be Stunned if you've been Stunned or Blocked a Stunning Hit in the past 2 seconds

Grim Fate

Killing a Fate-empowered boss can grant a Grim Fate.

These Fates are specific to Pinnacle bosses, and make their encounter harder.

  • The Collector:
    • Maven will have a 30% chance to gain a Power, Frenzy or Endurance Charge on Hit
    • Monsters summoned during the Brain phase will have a random Fate Empowerment
    • Cascade of Pain will fire additional Crow projectiles
    • Circle Slam will trigger a beam of viscera and blood
  • The Awakened: Sirus will have a Conqueror Power at random
  • The Emissary: Eater of Worlds will gain 30% of Maximum Life as extra Maximum Energy Shield

“Invoke Grim Fate for this encounter” choice below the Eldritch influences on the Map device for the Pinnacle Bosses

As stated before, Pinnacle bosses can also grant body parts:

  • Greater Elder’s Head: Enemies Chilled by your Hits can be Shattered as though Frozen
  • Sirus’ Head: [random Transfiguration effect]
  • Maven’s Orrery: Enemies within 3 metres are Scorched

New Pinnacle Boss: The Coven Queen (summon item: Cursed Poppet)
