Instilling Orb
An Instilling Orb is a currency item that can be used to add a random enchantment to a utility flask. These enchantments cause your flask to be used when certain conditions are met, e.g., "Used when you become Frozen". The enchantments do not prevent the player from using the flask themself.
However trigger effect from enchantments like "Used when you become Frozen" still count as you, so it will trigger effects like "When you use a flask" or like Lose Souls gained from Soul Eater when you use a Flask from the Soulthirst unique belt.
Obtaining
Instilling Orbs are uncommon currency items that can be dropped by slain monsters, chests, and destructible containers. They also drop from Arcanist's Strongboxes. They begin to drop at the end of Act 4.
