Item acquisition Steps

Complete the following steps to obtain a Amplification Rod.

Obtain/buy Power Magnified prophecy and activate it
Obtain/buy Reverberation Rod and carry it in your inventory
Travel to the The Lunaris Temple Level 2 (Act 3) or The Belly of the Beast Level 2 or Shrine Map
Kill Piety or Piety, the Abomination or Piety the Empyrean
You will obtain a new Amplification Rod in your inventory

Version history

Version	Changes
3.19.0	Fated Uniques can no longer be acquired. The special modifiers on some Fated Uniques have been moved to the base version of that Unique. More information can be found in the Version 3.19.0#Rebalance of Unique Items section.
3.17.0	Removed the Prophecy mechanic from the game, and moved many of its rewards to other content. Fated Unique Items not mentioned explicitly in the version 3.17.0 patch notes now have a chance to drop from any endgame map boss. This is a temporary measure to maintain their availability. They will be moved to a new acquisition system in a future expansion.
3.11.0	Now grants +2 levels to socketed gems (from +1). Existing versions of these items can be updated with a Divine Orb. Now supports socketed spells with level 10 Spell Echo Support (from level 1), affecting all existing versions of these items, though it may say otherwise. Now supports socketed spells with level 10 Controlled Destruction Support (from level 1) and level 10 Intensify Support (instead of level 1 Increased Area of Effect Support). Likewise, this affects existing versions of Amplification Rod, even if the item says it still has level 1.
2.6.0	Base type damage increased to 10-31 (up from 8-24). Base type critical strike chance reduced to 7% (down from 8%).
2.3.0	Introduced to the game.
