Rating Difficulty: Very Easy

The Blood Crucible is a new mechanic that has been introduced in the Scourge League. You are able to upgrade your Blood Crucible through killing Scourge Demons. You will be able to gain new abilities and slots for your Blood Crucible as you progress through the game and acts. This challenge is not too difficult depending on how long it takes for your Blood Crucible to level; but doing higher level maps and killing higher level Scourge Demons will give you more Scourge Corruption which will work towards levelling your Blood Crucible faster.

By focusing the corruption you get from killing Scourge demons into the Blood Crucible, you can corrupt and potentially create powerful items by first putting the item in the blood crucible then killing a certain amount of demons to then be able to transform the item. Transforming the item will corrupt it, meaning it will no longer be able to be crafted by normal means, while also adding 2 Scourge modifiers; a beneficial modifier(good) and a detrimental modifier(bad). These modifiers have a large selection to choose from and can provide very large benefits or drawbacks to your build, so take your chances and roll the dice, but be careful as to not use your main item, lest it becomes unusable.
