11 # Reservation
2-**Mana reservation** is a method of using mana to pay for auras, herald skills, mine skills, or any skill with an ongoing effect. Rather than paying the mana cost once as with normal skills, a portion of mana is set aside as unusable for as long as the skill is active. Having mana reserved does not reduce the rate of mana regeneration, so it will reduce the time taken for mana to regenerate to its (temporary) maximum.

19-The amount reserved can be reduced by passives or items with the "<span class="explicitMod">Reduced Reserved</span>" or "<span class="explicitMod">Less Reserved</span>" properties. The amount reserved will NOT be reduced by the property "<span class="explicitMod">reduced Mana/Total Cost</span>" such as from the [[Inspiration Support]] gem. Flat mana cost reduction such as <span class="explicitMod">Elreon's</span> mod will not reduce reservation either.
