5858 大部分的輿圖機制都被重製，目的是為了更容易理解創造深層的機制。地區被移除了，所以你的輿圖特定效果將會影響每張你刷的圖。先前你需要蒐集 16 顆守望石，現在被 4 顆虛空石取代，他們可以讓你將輿圖中全部的地圖階級提升至 16 階。六分儀可以套用至虛空石上並在物品化後交易。指揮官基拉克提供各種輿圖目標，讓你的地圖附加更多有價值的內容。
