Jaws of Agony
Mechanics
Jaws of Agony grants a level 20 Bear Trap
. The bear trap will be supported by any applicable support gems socketed into the item without requiring any of the sockets to be linked.
Power Charge on throwing a trap: The player has a chance to gain a power charge when a trap is thrown, regardless of whether the trap is triggered. This effect works independently from notable passive Blast Cascade. The use of the Multiple Traps Support
and Cluster Traps Support
support gems result in additional separately rolled chances to gain a Power Charge on trap throw. This allows for the possibility of gaining anywhere between 0 and 5 charges on a single trap throw when using both supports.
Necromantic Aegis grants power charges to minions that throw traps.
Item acquisition
Jaws of Agony can drop anywhere. It can be chanced.
