5+Lacerate is a **melee attack** skill that performs two slashes: one aimed just to the left, then one just to the right. The slashes damage all enemies in a cone in front of the attacker. Each slash does less damage than a single hit from [[Cleave]], but the two slashes overlap in the middle, hitting enemies in front twice.

47 ## Skill functions and interactions
8+- **Dual wielding**: Lacerate when dual wielding always does a main-hand hit followed by an off-hand hit. In the case of having an off-hand weapon other than a sword or axe, the skill cannot be used.
59
6-- Flame Dash has an instant cast time if it is not used continuously. This effect seems to have a cooldown based on cast speed.
10+- Base radius of Lacerate is 38 units.
711
8-- Flame Dash will force the character to move in range of the target location when not targeted using the attack-in-place key (Shift by default).
12+- Lacerate interacts with [Blood and Sand Stance](https://poedb.tw/us/Blood_Stance_and_Sand_Stance), gaining bleed chance and more bleed damage in Blood Stance, and gaining a wider wave in Sand Stance.

10-- Flame Dash cannot be supported by [[Spell Echo Support]] although it is affected by echoing shrine resulting in two fast, individually targeted casts.
11-
12-- The maximum targeting range of Flame Dash is defined by a square rectangle centered around the caster. This means that the actual maximum range will be √2 times as long (roughly 41% longer) dashing diagonally as it would be dashing straight up, down, left or right. Flame Dash and [[Leap Slam]] seem to be the only two skills that work this way, all other skills have their max-range defined by a circle as one would expect.
13-
14-- Flame Dash shares a cooldown with other Blink skills.
