    야수의 대가 아인하르아인하르는 용감한 탐험가야. 용기의 비밀이 뭐라고 생각해? 응, 생각하지 않는 거야. 언젠가는 생각 없이 동굴에 들어갔던 적이 있어. 매우 용감한 행동이었지만 곧 길을 잃고 말았지. 그리 어두컴컴한 동굴임에도 생각이 없었으니 횃불을 챙긴다는 생각도 하지 않았던 거야.

    그렇게 어둠뿐인 곳을 걸어가는데... 빛이 하나 보이더라고. 곧 둘이 되고 이내 셀 수도 없이 많아졌지! 정말 많은 빛이었어! 빛을 향해 계속해서 나아가니, 자연히 빛은 더욱더 밝아지기 시작했어. 그리고는... 미끄러졌지. 굉장히 멀리까지 미끄러져 내려가면서 아인하르는 이렇게 죽는구나 하는 생각까지 했다니까. 그러다가... 거미줄에 걸렸어. 빛들이 움직이며 들끓더라. 곤충들이었던 거야. 그리고 그 위로 거미의 그림자가 드리웠는데... 최초의 존재들의 화신인 페누무스였지.

    페누무스의 거미줄은 질겼지만, 아인하르의 칼은 더욱더 단단했다 이 말씀이야. 거미줄을 잘라 떨어지는데 아래는 강이 흐르고 있었어. 그렇게 해변까지 닿게 된 거야. 재미있는 모험이었어.

    그러니 페누무스에 닿는 길은 벌레들의 피에 있는 거라 할 수 있겠지. 거미와 곤충들을 찾으면 페누무스도 자연히 찾을 수 있을 거야.
