Exposure



Exposure is a debuff that lowers a particular elemental resistance.
Mechanics
Multiple Exposures of the same element do not stack; only the highest Exposure of the element applies. Exposures of different elements can apply to the same target.
Exposure with an unspecified value defaults to -10% to the affected resistance. Exposures with different values are:
Scorching Ray: -25% to Fire Resistance
Avatar of the Veil: -20% to all Elemental Resistances
Frost Bomb: -15% to Cold Resistance
Wave of Conviction: -15% to to the Elemental Resistance matching the highest damage taken
The Elementalist's Mastermind of Discord applies an additional -25% to Exposure, and the Ascendant's Elementalist applies an additional -20%.
If Exposure has a duration (e.g. it doesn't apply to nearby enemies), it defaults to 4 seconds. If a skill sets the Exposure's duration, modifiers to skill effect duration will apply to the Exposure.
