    Timeless Jewel

    Timeless Jewel is the basetype of a set of five unique jewels that can alter the passive tree nodes.

    Mechanics

    Each Timeless Jewel alters passive nodes within its radius based on its seed and name. As an example, the numbers on Glorious Vanity range from 100 to 8000, with no specific benefit associated with a particular range of numbers (The range is different for the 4 other jewels). Each number is associated with a variant of the alternative skill tree, and each name is associated with a different keystone passive. (I.e., the same seed yielded the same skill tree with the same effect on notable and basic passive, but the keystone is only affected by the name) There are 7901 possibilities for each of Ahuana, Doryani and Xibaqua variants of the Glorious Vanity jewel alone, meaning that there are a total of 23703 different possibilities for each jewel. Using a CurrencyModValuesDivine Orb will randomize both the seed and name.

    Note that only Glorious Vanity has the range 100-8000. The range of Militant Faith is 2000-10000 (8001 variants). Brutal Restraint and Elegant Hubris and Lethal Pride have their own range as well.

    Each modified keystone can only affect the player once - identical keystones do not stack.

    You may only equip one unique Timeless Jewel at a time. Each unique version has the tag "Limited to: 1 Historic".

    Conquered

    • Conquered Passive Skills cannot be modified by other jewels - in-game help text

    For example, Lioneye's Fall cannot modify the Timeless Jewel conquered passives. Thus "Conquered" means the Timeless Jewel replaced the passive skill tree as well as not able to be further modified.

    Item acquisition

    This item is drop disabled.

    This basetype does not drop normally. It drops as unique item only.

    The general way to acquire unique Timeless Jewels is from their respective Legions in the Domain of Timeless Conflict. Players need to place at least 2 emblems from different legions in the map device to open the portal to the area. Read the article about emblems for details.

    Non-unique Timeless Jewels do not normally drop. Players can obtain a non-unique Timeless Jewel by corrupting five unique Timeless Jewels into rares, then selling five corrupted rare Timeless Jewel to a vendor for an uncorrupted rare. Since not every corruption outcome is a rare, players need to vaal, at minimum, five Timeless jewels to use this vendor recipe.
