  • Flesh and Stone: No longer causes Nearby Enemies to be Blinded while in Sand Stance, or causes you to take less Damage from Attacks from Enemies that aren't nearby while in Sand Stance. It also no longer causes Nearby Enemies to be Maimed while in Blood Stance, and no longer causes Enemies Maimed by this Skill to take increased Physical Damage. It now has "Nearby Enemies take up to 10% more Physical Damage from Hits while in Blood Stance" at gem level 1, scaling up to 20% at gem level 20, and "Take up to 10% less Damage from Nearby Enemies while in Sand Stance" at gem level 1, scaling up to 19% at gem level 20.     • Problem: Flesh and Stone is not powerful enough to warrant 25% mana reservation. Slight improvements to Blind investment outlined below will naturally help it to some extent, but just a little more power is needed to make it a competitive option.
  • Solution: Increase the damage reduction from distant enemies that Flesh and Stone provides when in Sand Stance.
    • Flesh and Stone now causes you to take 11–15% less Damage from Attacks from Enemies that aren't nearby while in Sand Stance at gem levels 1–20 (previously 9–11%)
  • Fixed a bug where Aura Effect was affecting the Maim debuff applied by Flesh and Stone while in Blood Stance.

    The Saboteur Ascendancy Notable Passive Skill that is tied to Blind is being reviewed, and Flesh and Stone is being changed as noted below.
    Because Flesh and Stone blinded nearby enemies, it was incredibly popular. The changes to Blind have reduced its power, so now characters may be missing a low-cost defensive reservation effect.

    Reduce the cost of Flesh and Stone and change Tempest Shield so that it is a similarly powerful defensive reservation effect (alongside Arctic Armour and Flesh and Stone). The intent is that there are three competing defensive reservation effects that you are able to pick between, or use together.

    • Flesh and Stone has been changed back to a 25% Reservation as a result of the changes made to Blind. It also now has “Enemies Maimed by this Skill take 8% increased Physical Damage” at gem level 1 (previously 13%), up to 11% at gem level 20 (previously 16%).

    Flesh and Stone

    Flesh and Stone is an aura that activates Blood Stance and Sand Stance. In Blood Stance (Flesh), the aura maims nearby enemies while increasing the physical damage they take. In Sand Stance (Stone), the aura blinds enemies in radius and grants the user damage reduction against enemies outside the aura. Activating the skill while it's toggled on will alternate between stances. Certain skills also behave differently based on the stance you are currently in.

    Skill functions and interactions

    Stance setting is shared with Blood and Sand and toggling one will toggle both.

    Flesh and Stone can be linked with Maim Support to increase the effect of Enemies Maimed by Supported Skills take X% increased Physical Damage but will increased the Reservation.

    The blind from the Sand Stance has its own blind visual effect on enemies.
