    Awakened Hextouch Support

    Trinity Support
    Supports skills that hit enemies, causing them to gain bonuses while you have resonance of all three elements, and to grant resonance of elements other than the highest one in a hit. There is a maximum of 50 Resonance for each Element. Cannot support triggered skills, instant skills, orb skills, brands, skills with a reservation, or skills used by totems, traps, or mines. Cannot modify the skills of minions.
    Bloodthirst Support
    Supports attack skills. Cannot support triggered skills, skills which create minions, or skills used by totems, traps or mines.
    Cruelty Support
    Supports any skill that hits enemies. Minions cannot gain Cruelty.
    Overcharge Support
    Supports any skill that hits enemies.
    Prismatic Burst Support
    Supports attacks, causing them to trigger the Prismatic Burst spell. Cannot support triggered attacks or attacks used by things other than you. Cannot modify the skills of minions.
    Devour Support
    Supports any skill that hits enemies.
    Sadism Support

    Vaal Spectral Throw

    Vaal Spectral Throw is a vaal projectile attack that throws a copy of the player's melee weapon, spiralling outwards from the character and hitting enemies in its path

    Skill functions and interactions

    • Terrain: Compared to the regular Spectral Throw, projectiles from Vaal Spectral Throw will disappear if they connect with terrain.

    • Projectile Speed: Vaal Spectral Throw acts different regarding projectile speed compared to most other spells. It has a set distance the projectiles can travel compared to having a set lifetime. So while increasing projectile speed makes the projectiles cover the area faster, it also makes the projectiles disappear faster instead of increasing the distance it covers.

    • Multiple Projectiles: When combined with Lesser Multiple Projectiles Support/Greater Multiple Projectiles Support supports, Vaal Spectral Throw creates multiple copies spread out around you that circles out at the same speed as the original projectile.

  • Vaal Skill soul counts were initially balanced for Merciless difficulty, where there are more monsters. We want them to be easier to use in Normal and Cruel difficulty. We have halved the number of souls required for each skill. In Cruel difficulty, skills require 50% more souls to uses. In Merciless difficulty, they require 100% more (which is the same as before the patch).
