Pierce Support is a Support gem that grants piercing to projectile created by skills linked to this gem.

Skill functions and interactions

Some projectiles, such as those from Freezing Pulse and Holy Flame Totem, already have infinite Pierces, so increased pierces will have no effect. These projectiles will benefit from the more damage multiplier from this support gem (as well as the increased projectile damage from a quality gem). Ice Spear also has infinite Pierces in its armed form, but before arming, it doesn't have the pierce effect - this gem will give the projectile's first form target piercing.

The Pierce from this support gem is additive with other Pierces modifiers from other sources such as the Piercing Shots notable passive.
