Warbands league

The Warbands league was a challenge league. In the Warbands league, warring clans spread throughout Wraeclast. These warbands are tight-knit groups of enemies who cooperate and use synergistic skills to take you down. At higher levels, elite and leader enemies were present, who directed their Warband in combat and could take matters into their own hands if the tide of battle turned against them. Each of the three Warbands had exclusive Unique Items that only drop from them. The presence of the warbands in Wraeclast fluctuated over time and responds to the Exiles' efforts to hunt them.

It started along with the Tempest league on July 10, 2015. Both leagues ended October 2, 2015. At the end of the league all characters and stashes were moved to Standard league. Characters that died during the four months respawned in Warbands.

Tempest league

The Tempest league was a hardcore challenge league. This league introduced Tempests. These can cause a variety of effects that influence both monsters and players, such as changing their sizes, causing damage, altering drop rates or automatically animating weapons that drop. It was possible to see the current affected areas on the World Screen.

The league started along with the Warbands league on July 10, 2015. Both leagues ended October 2, 2015. At the end of the league, all living characters and stashes were be moved to the Hardcore league. Characters that died in this league would immediately respawn in the Standard league.
