    Asenath's Gentle Touch inflicts a Temporal Chains debuff on enemies on hit, which equals to the value of the debuff from the level 1 Temporal Chains skill,[1] but have 40% increased Hex effectiveness (curse skill has a Doom cap of 30, which equals to 30% effectiveness. Self cast curse gains Doom over time). The final curse debuff effect is similar to debuff from higher level Temporal Chains curse skill at zero Doom. Also note that boss such as The Shaper has 66% less Hex effectiveness.

    Because the curse applies only to enemies, damage done to yourself either through reflect or Scold's Bridle will not apply the curse to yourself.

    Corrupting (such as vaaling) the gloves may grant one of the corrupted implicit modifiers Curse Enemies with Level (10–12) x on Hit in order to dual curse the enemy on hit. However, the player must find a way to increase the curse limit, such as Whispers of Doom or Cospri's Will. If the character's curse limit is the default of 1, the implicit curse is applied second and therefore takes priority, according to player testing.
