Viper Strike


Viper Strike is a claw / dagger / sword melee strike attack skill. It hits the enemy, converting physical damage to chaos damage, and applies poison, dealing chaos damage over time based on the combined physical and chaos damage dealt. It uses both weapons to deal damage if you are dual wielding.

Skill functions and interactions

Viper Strike applies poison with a 4-second duration on hit. Viper Strike specifically overrides the base poison duration with its own base skill duration. IncreasedDurationIncreased Duration Support, ReduceDurationLess Duration Support, UnboundAilmentsUnbound Ailments Support and SupportRapidDecayGemSwift Affliction Support all affect the duration of that poison.

Some beneficial curses and auras for Viper Strike include DespairDespair, TemporalChainsTemporal Chains and DeliriumGemMalevolence.

Viper Strike is a Strike attack, thus:
